But, this may be just be my personal philosophy. But, I rarely spend that much on them since by design they’re made to be sheer and have a bad reputation when it comes to longevity. However, I think I can find something similar for less (i.e.
If someone were to give me a bottle, I wouldn’t complain. It’s one of those bases that I can’t even remember when I’m sniffing it. It’s a vague,green vetiver, chemical-y woods and pale musk. Honestly, the rest of the fragrance disappoints me. The opening and heart really do come across as warm and sunny. I swear I get some jasmine in there too that makes this perfume seem like it also contains orange blossoms. The heart adds some dry spices and vague greenness. I absolutely love this opening, but alas, an opening like this never lasts too long. It opens with the peel of mandarins – sweet, sour and pithy. Anyway, to the perfume…Īs you’d guess, Clementine California is a citrus perfume. I guess I love the idea of Los Angeles more than actually being there? I truly have a love/hate relationship with one of the U.S.’s best cities.
But, as soon as I’m there, I want to leave. I actually spend a lot of time thinking about moving there, fantasizing about year-round perfect weather, Art Deco architecture and endless sunshine.
